Free VNs on Steam.

I'll review free steam visual novels. I will update this with more free steam VNs as I play them. VNs are pretty great, ngl. Visual novels can provide a dense and tonal narrative that can be engaging and well produced by even small studios, giving interesting and creative writers an engaging platform. Also, they have cute anime waifus. So, fantastic medium.  I'll be rating visual novels not on a traditional scale, but instead of recommendation. Many of these may not be fully fledged enough to be on the scale of paid VNs, but have enough intrigue to merit recommendation. 👍👍 for a definite recommendation, exceptional and very notable in storytelling. 👍 for anything that I feel has merit, and still could be an engaging experience. ❌ for anything I felt was actively "bad" but still had some intrigue. ❌❌ for anything I felt just completely wasn't worth my time. 👍❌ is anything that I feel is not exeptional, but I don't really want to give a ❌. Yuru Yuri review.

yuru yuri, hajimaru yo! Akariiiin~ Hai! Yuru Yuri, hajimaru yo! (review based on TV seasons 1/2/3, also spoilers, ish.) The appeal of moe is inherently escapist. The enjoyment from enjoying this type of show almost certainly comes from escapism. These shows are a relief from reality to provide a simple narrative and an abstractification of human interaction. Yet this may not necessarily be a detractor for a show. Narrative is expression, and this includes expression of this kind of story. While I will give a score in this review, I stress that the true value of this storytelling is in the eye of the consumer. The emotional impact to you will always be the most important, and that may depend on many different but perfectly valid reasons. So, what is Yuru Yuri and what are it's qualities?
